Orientation Week!!!

Back again! This week is the ORIENTATION Week! It was so fun and fabulous. The seniors were kind, friendly and jovial. The seniors leading our class were Janell, Xin Yi, Jia Xing, Benjamin and Yusiang. I learnt tons of cheers. We had a discussion about the advantages and disadvantages of being short and how to grow taller, since one of our seniors are short. Haha...
Day 1
Met at the canteen. Then some of the seniors brought us to our junior high block. Went up to my class. It was on the third floor and one of the corner classes. D= Well, at least the toilet is nearer. When I went into class, the seniors were already there. They were asking for our names and which school we were from. One of the seniors, Yusiang, was finding someone from St. andrews, but too bad, nobody from there. Nextly, we went to the hall for pledge taking and principal's address. We also received our badges. We were giving a warm welcome by our seniors. So kind!=D Next we went to the auditorium for our orientation theme, class names and code of conduct. After all these talks, finally, reccess finally arrived! There were seats esp for us. After reccess, we went to class to play games. Firstly we played splat. Since it took a long time, we couldn't complete the game. Went to play games at the parade square. Played a ball game. There's a game that require us to hold hands with our partner. I was that unlucky, one of them was a boy. But I don't know why he would not co-operate with me. Either the hoop couldn't get through me or him. Urghhh! Lastly we went to learn the school song.
Day 2
Went to East Coast Park. Can we believed we walked there! By the time we reached there, our legs were tired. Did alot of cheers and played a lot of games. =D Well it was fun. One of our senior, went to take pics of us but everyone tried to block his view. But surprisingly, when another senior came to take, everybody just posed for her. She started telling how successful she was to the other unsuccessful one.
Day 3
This is the day full of games. Firstly, we played blow wind blow. I was damn unlucky, for two times, I had to 'blow' peeps away. The last person to be the blower, would have to do a forfit, which is to do pole dancing. That guy refused to do. In the end, one of the senior, obvious one of the guy, said that he doesn't do, he will do with him. In the end, that senior really did but nobody had their video cam ready, so nobody managed to record that. Next we played blanket. As there were some popular guys in our class, if we put them over there, the one opposite him would be able to guess our the name easily while the popular guy would be busy thinking who's that. Since my group has many of that peeps, we ended up losing. Then, we played catch a chair. This game is so damn fun. The boys were quite meany. As they were lazy, if they didn't wanna move, they would bang on the chair for the girls to move. Once I banged on the chair, the boy next to me didn't move, and in the end, the catcher sat on it and I had to be the catcher. But finally, I found a sit. Since we still had little time, we played a short game of 'Honey, do you love me?' One person would have to ask the one of the opposite sex that silly question. THe answerer must not laugh while answering ' I do.'. One girl went to laugh when a senior did that on her and in the end, she had to be the asker. But saved by the bell. Went to cca exhibition. Hv to choose 2 cca from performing arts and uniform grp respectively. Have not decided.
Day 4
Instead of playing, we were discussing how to grow taller, since one of the seniors, Yusiang, was short, for his age. Well, he claimed that he was 1.64m only, short for his age. When standing even with the girls senior, he was stil shorter than one of them. Even when standing with ppl of his age, he was like one of the shortest. He said that if he were to stand with his army mates in the future, you would see an uneven line. He kept saying abt his height when he came in to dhs, 1.42m like this. Then he showed us his photo of then and before. OMG. Then we began saying that if he was short, he would not be shot by a gun so easily as the bullet would go over his head, he began celebrating. But soon, he said that he would be stamped easily by the others. They began talking about scoliosis and the bending of the backbone. He claimed he has and said that without this bending, he would be much taller. Maybe if my spinal cord wasn't curved, I would have been much taller. Haiz. Went for a school tour. Well, we came out last. Very sad hor. Well gonna eleaborate more on next post. Bye!
